MECHANICAL BRUSHING OF INGOTS

Something more : mechanical brushing of ingots

For those customers who are increasingly more concerned with obtain complex castings, thinner thickness, glossy surface that are free from oxidation hard spots, we perform an automatic mechanical finish by brushing the ingots on all sides to remove even that absolute minimum part of oxide inclusions originated by melting in ambient atmosphere.

This operation enhances visual appearance of the ingot, prevents micro oxidation from occurring during re-melting and improves quality of the final alloy.
